My trip to Miami started with the long journey down south, we did a night down in Jacksonville then headed to Miami. Free The Fly

Fly Fishing is my passion.

Free the Fly is my outlet for that Passion.

I’m a high school student with a Huge addiction that I caught the sumner of my Freshman year after buying a cheap walmart combo and fishing bass ponds around Ponte Vedra, Florida. Since then I’ve fly fished everything for panfish to redfish, always learning something along the way. Now I’m located in Raleigh, NC trying to learn the ropes of fishing these waters.

I’ve really Created this site/blog as a way to share my Fly Fishing experience (as well as other contributors) and learn from others. I’ve purchased some crappy gear, I’ve changed my cast millions of times, I’ve tied patterns hundreds of different ways. Have I now figured out anything about fly fishing? Maybe 10% max. So now This is the next level, breaking into the online fly fishing community. I want to share what knowledge I have, and learn more along the way. I’ll be posting weekly, and hopefully have some other contributors post some swell. IF you have a post idea just shoot me an E-Mail FreetheFly2014@gmail.com .
